2. General information and legal grounds
We process personal data where required to operate this website, respond to enquiries or take steps prior to entering into or fulfilling a contract. Depending on the activity, our legal grounds include Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR and, where consent is necessary, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
3. Hosting and server logs
Our website is hosted by a hosting provider (IONOS). When you access a page, technical information such as your IP address, the date and time, requested resource, browser and device information, referring page and HTTP response status may be processed and stored in server logs. This is necessary for reliable and secure operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted in accordance with the technically necessary retention periods specified by the hosting provider, subject to any applicable legal obligations.
4. Contact and transport enquiries
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide to respond to your request and, where relevant, to take pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Our enquiry and order forms open a pre-filled message in your own email application. The forms do not directly transmit your entries to our web server. Your information is sent only when you send the message from your email application.
5. External links
Our website contains links to external services, such as map services and social media. These services are only opened if you click the relevant link. The operators of the linked services are responsible for processing data on their websites.
6. Cookies and analytics
In its current technical configuration, this website does not set its own analytics or marketing cookies and does not embed tracking services. If such features are introduced, we will provide the required information and obtain consent where necessary.
7. Recipients
Service providers, especially our hosting and IT service providers, may process data to operate the website and handle business enquiries. Additional disclosures only take place where necessary for contractual purposes, required by law or otherwise lawfully permitted.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for its purpose. Business correspondence and contract data may be subject to statutory retention requirements, after which they are deleted in accordance with the applicable rules. Technical log retention follows the criteria described above.
9. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction (Article 18), data portability (Article 20), and objection (Article 21). You may withdraw any consent with future effect at any time. Contact: info@ziegler-transporte.de.
10. Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority if you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully.
11. Automated decisions
This website does not use solely automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
12. Updates
We update this notice if our technical services or applicable legal requirements change. Last updated: October 2026.
